Keywords:

This meta-analysis aims to investigate the influence of training and development on employee performance by synthesizing data from 20 empirical studies in Indonesia. Analysis using a random-effects model via Jamovi software revealed a significant and positive effect size (r = 0.96, 95% CI [0.80, 1.11], p < .001), indicating a very strong relationship between the variables. Despite high heterogeneity (I2 = 86.1%), assessments through Fail-Safe N (7405) and Egger's regression test showed no significant indication of publication bias. These findings emphasize the importance of continuous human capital investment to enhance organizational productivity. Organizations are recommended to design evidence-based training programs relevant to competency needs to achieve optimal performance standards.
