About the Journal

JONED: Journal of Nusantara Education (E-ISSN 2807-436X) is a peer-reviewed open access scholarly journal published by the Faculty of Education, Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta. The journal is abstracted and indexed in SINTA, Google Scholar, Garuda, Crossref, Dimensions, OneSearch, Neliti.com, Base, Copernicus, JournalStories, ROAD, and Moraref. JONED is accredited in SINTA 3 by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. Based on Director General Decree No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, the journal was upgraded from SINTA 5 to SINTA 3 following the 2025 national journal reaccreditation. The accreditation is valid from Volume 5, Issue 1 (2025) through Volume 9, Issue 2 (2029) (Download Accreditation Certificate). 

The journal is a member of Crossref with DOI prefix 10.57176. JONED publishes original research articles and literature reviews in educational science, language education, early childhood education, primary education, secondary education, and higher education. Manuscripts may be submitted in English, Bahasa Indonesia, or other international languages for the initial editorial screening before undergoing the peer-review process.

The journal is published biannually, with issues released in April and October.
