ELTIS focuses on research and scholarly discussions related to English language teaching and language learning studies, bridging evidence-based research with pedagogical practice and educational innovation.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

  1. ELT pedagogy, instructional strategies, and classroom interaction
  2. Teacher education, teacher identity, and professional development
  3. Curriculum studies, materials development, and instructional design
  4. Language assessment, classroom evaluation, feedback, and testing
  5. Technology-enhanced language learning (CALL, mobile learning, blended/online learning, AI-assisted learning)
  6. English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Specific Purposes (ESP)
  7. Applied linguistics for ELT (SLA, pragmatics, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics) with clear pedagogical implications
  8. Teaching and learning of language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) and language components (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation)
