Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) merupakan salah satu hasil kemajuan teknologi digital yang mampu meniru pola berpikir manusia. Saat ini, pemanfaatan AI mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat di berbagai bidang, termasuk sektor pendidikan, khususnya dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran di jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Kehadiran AI memberikan peluang bagi guru untuk merancang media pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif, fleksibel, dan disesuaikan dengan karakteristik serta kebutuhan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi guru Sekolah Dasar terhadap penggunaan Artificial Intelligence dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran yang bersifat kreatif dan adaptif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 40 guru Sekolah Dasar sebagai responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert secara daring melalui Google Form yang dibagikan melalui aplikasi WhatsApp. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penerapan AI dalam proses pembelajaran. AI dipandang mampu membantu efisiensi waktu guru, memperkaya variasi serta meningkatkan daya tarik media pembelajaran, dan mendukung penerapan pembelajaran yang terdiferensiasi sesuai kebutuhan siswa. Namun demikian, terdapat pula kekhawatiran terkait kemungkinan ketergantungan peserta didik terhadap penggunaan AI. Secara umum, hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa Artificial Intelligence memiliki potensi yang signifikan dalam menunjang pengembangan media pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar yang kreatif dan adaptif.

ABSTRACT 

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a form of digital technological advancement that has the capability to simulate human thinking processes. Currently, the use of AI is rapidly expanding across various sectors, including education, particularly in the development of learning media at the elementary school level. AI enables teachers to design learning media that are more creative, adaptive, and aligned with students’ needs. This study aims to examine elementary school teachers’ perceptions of the use of Artificial Intelligence in developing creative and adaptive learning media. The research employed a quantitative approach involving 40 elementary school teachers as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online via Google Forms and shared through WhatsApp. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The findings indicate that the majority of teachers responded positively to the use of AI in learning. AI is perceived as being able to save teachers’ time, enhance the variety and attractiveness of learning media, and support differentiated learning according to students’ needs. However, concerns remain regarding the potential dependency of students on AI. Overall, the results suggest that Artificial Intelligence has significant potential to support the development of creative and adaptive learning media in elementary schools.
